Indications:
Trauma: fracture, vertebral dislocation.
Chest or back pain: unknown cause.
Spinal degeneration: evaluate degenerative or congenital malformations of the thoracic spine.
Tumors: detect tumors or lesions surrounding soft tissue.
Contraindications:
Pregnant women: especially in the first trimester.
Children: should be limited unless necessary.
People who cannot maintain the shooting position: due to pain or limited mobility.
Shooting procedure:
1. Preparation before shooting: the patient needs to remove jewelry or metal objects on the body.
2. Performing the shot: the patient stands or lies in straight, tilted or oblique positions.
3. Evaluation of results: X-ray images must be clear and not obscured by surrounding structures.
