X-ray Foot Views

Straight, oblique, or lateral X-rays of the foot and toes are commonly used to diagnose fractures or dislocations. X-rays of bones and joints are the fastest and easiest way for doctors to see and assess fractures, injuries, and joint abnormalities.

Indications:
 Diagnosis of fractures or dislocations.
 Demonstrating the healing and stability of bone fragments after fracture treatment.
 Guiding orthopedic surgery, joint replacement.
 Detecting injuries, infections, arthritis, abnormal bone growth, and bone changes in metabolic conditions.
 Assisting in detecting and diagnosing bone cancer.
 Determining the location of foreign objects in the surrounding soft tissues or bones.

Contraindications:
 No absolute contraindications.
 Pregnant women in the first trimester. Pregnant women in the second and third trimesters can be X-rayed if necessary.
 Patients who cannot cooperate.
