The Alinity c Cholinesterase assay is used for the kinetic colorimetric determination of cholinesterase according to the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Klinische Chemie (DGKC) recommendations in serum or plasma on the Alinity c analyzer.

‘+ TSHR Antibodies (TRAb) are autoantibodies directed against the TSH receptor on the surface of thyroid cells. These antibodies can either stimulate or block the activity of the thyroid gland, influencing thyroid function.
+ TRAb is a highly specific marker for Graves’ disease (autoimmune hyperthyroidism) and can help confirm the diagnosis, especially when clinical signs and symptoms (e.g., goiter, exophthalmos, and hyperthyroid symptoms) are present. It is used also to monitor disease activity during treatment.
+ It helps differentiate Graves’ disease from other causes of hyperthyroidism, such as toxic multinodular goiter or thyroiditis, which do not typically involve TRAb production.
