The Prevenar 13 vaccine (Belgium) is a pneumococcal vaccine, preventing invasive pneumococcal diseases that are dangerous to children and adults such as pneumonia, meningitis, bacteremia (blood infection), acute otitis media... caused by 13 strains of pneumococcus Streptococcus Pneumoniae (type 1, 3, 4, 5, 6A, 6B, 7F, 9V, 14, 18C, 19A, 19F, and 23F).

Applicable only at: Medical Diag Center, 414-420 Cao Thang Street, Ward 12, District 10, Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.

The target recipients for vaccination at Diag are adults (who have either never been vaccinated before or have not received the Pneumo 23 vaccine) with a vaccination protocol of a single-dose injection.

Contraindications:

Do not take the Prevenar-13 vaccine during pregnancy.
Do not give the Prevenar-13 vaccine to people who are hypersensitive to the ingredients in the vaccine or to diphtheria toxins.
