A paternity test determines if a person is the biological paternal side of a child. It's performed by comparing DNA samples from the child to the alleged person.

This test can determine the biological relationship between:
Paternal grandfather - grandson
Paternal uncle -nephew
Brothers
Paternal grandmother - granddaugter
Paternal half sisters

Patient Instructions:

Results will not be provided online but in hard copy, and the processing time will depend on the location of the branch receiving the results.

For civil results: Samples can be collected by the customer and brought in or directly collected by Diag staff. However, customers are not required to provide identification documents and may assign a code/name to the sample for analysis as requested. It is not necessary to provide the real name or gender of the person being analyzed.

Additional Services:
For Vietnamese customers, if prior notice is given when submitting the sample, a free English result report will be provided. If additional reports are needed later, customers should take note for future submissions and select code 11502-2LOCI - Paternity DNA with an extra report.
For foreign customers, an English result report will be provided by default.
