The MMR II vaccine is designed to prevent three highly contagious respiratory diseases: measles, mumps and rubella. This vaccine originates from the United States and is developed by Merck & Co., Inc.

Applicable only at: 414-420 Cao Thang Street, Ward 12, District 10, Ho Chi Minh City.

  • Individuals who are 16 years old and above.
  • Adults who have never been vaccinated against measles, mumps and rubella.
  • Adults who have not completed the full primary vaccination series or are unsure of vaccination history.
  • Individuals traveling to or working in areas with outbreaks of measles, mumps and rubella.
  • Persons working in crowded environments with a high risk of infection, such as healthcare workers, teachers, industrial workers, etc.
  • Women planning to become pregnant.

  • Provide immunity against measles, mumps and rubella viruses in individuals who are unvaccinated or have incomplete immunity.
  • Prevent rubella infection in women prior to pregnancy, ensuring a healthy pregnancy.

  • Individuals with a history of allergy to any component of the vaccine, including gelatin.
  • Individuals with a history of anaphylactic reaction to neomycin.
  • Individuals with acute illnesses or respiratory tract infections.
  • Individuals with untreated active tuberculosis or those undergoing immunosuppressive therapy.
  • Individuals with blood disorders, leukemia, lymphatic malignancies, malignant neoplasms affecting the bone marrow or lymphatic system.
  • Patients with primary or secondary immunodeficiency, those under immunosuppressive treatment, AIDS patients, individuals showing clinical signs of immunodeficiency; conditions associated with hypo- or agammaglobulinemia.
  • Family history of congenital or hereditary immunodeficiency, unless proven to have an immune response to the vaccine.
  • Women planning to become pregnant within one month.
  • Pregnant women, who should use contraception for three months following vaccination.

  • Dose 1: Initial dose.
  • Dose 2: 4 weeks after dose 1.

  • Provide comprehensive information about your medical history, current medications, and allergic reaction history.
  • Provide a vaccination history and any adverse reactions related to previous MMR II vaccinations.
  • Do not simultaneously administer immune globulin (IG) or other blood products with MMR II.
  • Be cautious before vaccination in the following cases: personal or family history of febrile seizures; severe allergy to eggs; history of thrombocytopenia.
  • Pay attention to post-vaccination reactions such as fever, rash and injection site reactions including pain, redness, swelling.
  • Pay attention to potential post-vaccination reactions reported in clinical trials, including headache, dizziness, febrile seizures, anaphylaxis or anaphylactoid reactions, arthritis, thrombocytopenia, encephalitis, encephalopathy.
