Fever of unknown origin (FUO) is a condition characterized by persistent fever without an identified cause despite thorough investigation. The fever testing package aids in detecting and differentiating various types of fever, enabling patients to understand the disease and adopt appropriate preventive measures. Additionally, these tests support doctors in providing effective treatment protocols tailored to each specific condition.

WHO SHOULD TAKE THIS TEST?

- Fever persisting for more than three weeks with a temperature exceeding 101°F (38.3°C).
- Headaches, joint pain, and muscle aches.
- Rash.
- Nausea and vomiting.

TEST'S PURPOSE

Identifying the cause of fever such as:

- Dengue fever (Dengue NS1 Ag, Dengue Ab IgG + IgM).
- Typhoid fever - Salmonella Widal test.
- Malaria - Rapid Malaria Test, Malaria Parasite (Peripheral Blood Smear).
- SARS-CoV-2 (COVID-19) Rapid Test.
- Fever due to other causes.

DOCTOR CONSULTATION

The consultation service for test results is as follows:
Step 1: Go to Diag's website, select a test package, and make a booking.
Step 2: Pay and get samples collected at a Diag location or at home.
Step 3: Choose a timeslot for a consultation with a doctor.
Step 4: Receive your test results via text message.
Step 5: A Diag doctor will contact you by phone to consult with you on the results.
