The Boostrix vaccine (Belgium) creates an antibody response against 3 diseases of pertussis –
diphtheria – tetanus.
- History of hypersensitivity to the composition of the vaccine. Hypersensitivity after previous
diphtheria, pertussis, or tetanus vaccination. - People who have suffered from brain manifestations: coma, unconsciousness, prolonged
seizures. - People with a history of transient thrombocytopenia or neurological complications following prior
diphtheria and/or tetanus vaccination.
- Dose 1: Initial dose.
- Dose 2: 01 month after initial dose.
- Dose 3: 06 months after second dose.
