Beta-2-Microglobulin is found on the surface of most cells in the body, especially lymphocytes. This test is used to assess kidney function, monitor patients with lymphoma or multiple myeloma. High levels of Beta-2-Microglobulin in urine may indicate kidney problems, blood cancer, or other medical conditions.
