[2-Signature] Histopathological examination and diagnosis by PAS (Periodic Acide - Siff) staining method is analyzed and signed by at least two pathologists from the Diag Pathology Laboratory, including the senior consultant. This test is indicated in the following cases:
- When the prior histopathological and cytological results are reviewed by pathologists at the Diag Pathology Laboratory, and additional PAS staining is required for a definitive diagnosis. In this case, we will perform the staining, analyze the specimen, and provide a histopathological or cytological diagnosis.
- For clients requesting PAS staining on paraffin-embedded tissue blocks or unstained slides. In this case, we perform the PAS staining technique and report the results as positive or negative.
