[2-Signature] Histopathological examination and diagnosis by Giemsa staining method

[2-Signature] Histopathological examination and diagnosis by Giemsa staining method is analyzed and signed by at least two pathologists from the Diag Pathology Laboratory, including the senior consultant. This test is indicated in the following cases:
- When the prior histopathological and cytological results are reviewed by pathologists at the Diag Pathology Laboratory, and additional Giemsa staining is required for a definitive diagnosis. In this case, we will perform the staining, analyze the specimen, and provide a histopathological or cytological diagnosis.
- For clients requesting Giemsa staining on paraffin-embedded tissue blocks or unstained slides. In this case, we perform the Giemsa staining technique and report the results as positive or negative.

(1) Request form: The request form must include the following information:

+ Gender
+ Phone number
+ Patient ID, hospital ID, or medical ID number
+ Diagnosis
+ Method of specimen collection
+ Site of collection/specimen type
+ Number of specimens sent
+ Name of the test/service requested
+ Notes (if any)
+ Ordering physician’s signature and full name
* For patients who are already have prior histopathological and cytological results are reviewed by pathologists at the Diag Pathology Laboratory, and additional Giemsa staining is required for a definitive diagnosis, it is only necessary to complete the required information.
* For clients requesting Giemsa staining on paraffin-embedded tissue blocks or unstained slides, please additionally provide the following:
(2) The paraffin blocks or slides must remain intact.
(3) The paraffin blocks or slides must contain sufficient tumor or lesion tissue.
(4) The paraffin blocks or slides can be stored at room temperature.
(5) Must attach the existing pathology or cytology test results, ensuring that the specimen code on the slide or paraffin block matches the code on the test results.
