[2-Signature] Histopathological examination and diagnosis by Giemsa staining method is analyzed and signed by at least two pathologists from the Diag Pathology Laboratory, including the senior consultant. This test is indicated in the following cases:
- When the prior histopathological and cytological results are reviewed by pathologists at the Diag Pathology Laboratory, and additional Giemsa staining is required for a definitive diagnosis. In this case, we will perform the staining, analyze the specimen, and provide a histopathological or cytological diagnosis.
- For clients requesting Giemsa staining on paraffin-embedded tissue blocks or unstained slides. In this case, we perform the Giemsa staining technique and report the results as positive or negative.
