WHO SHOULD TAKE THIS TEST?

- History of blood sugar disorders.
- History of cardiovascular diseases due to arterial plaque.
- Polycystic ovary syndrome and/or gestational diabetes in women.
- Individuals diagnosed with type 1 or type 2 diabetes.

TEST'S PURPOSE

- Measure and assess the average amount of glucose attached to Hemoglobin molecules in the blood to screen for diabetes.
- Urine analysis helps detect glucose levels in urine and other parameters to aid in the detection and monitoring of diabetes.
- Measure Creatinine levels in the blood to evaluate kidney function and the ability to filter waste products.

PATIENT PREPARATION

- Fasting is required for at least 8 hours prior to sample collection.
- If possible, delay using insulin and hypoglycemia medicine after sample collection.

HOME COLLECTION SERVICE

- Call 1900 1717 to request that your sample is taken at home.
- Standard call charges apply.

DOCTOR CONSULTATION

The consultation service for test results is as follows:
Step 1: Go to the Diag website, select a test package, and make a booking.
Step 2: Pay and get samples collected at a Diag location or at home.
Step 3: Choose a timeslot for a consultation with a doctor.
Step 4: Receive your test results via text message.
Step 5: A Diag doctor will contact you by phone to consult with you on the results.
