This is a screening panel designed to evaluate the health of couples before entering married life. The test aims to screen for genetic disorders, infectious diseases and risks that may affect the health of the couple and their future children.

Glucose Fasting

Glucose Fasting test is a blood test that measures blood sugar levels after not eating or drinking anything except water for at least 8 hours. It checks how well the body manages blood sugar and is commonly used to diagnose or monitor diabetes.

Complete Blood Count (CBC)

The test helps detect various diseases, including infections, anemia, immune system abnormalities, and hematological disorders.

Automated Blood typing ABO + Rh

A blood type can be classified into four common groups known as the ABO system: A, B, AB, or O. A second system, the Rh system, determines if the blood type is Rh-positive or -negative. Blood typing is a common test before blood transfusions, tissue transplants, and during pregnancy.

Urinalysis (Urine Chemistry)

Evaluates general health status through analyzing urine indicators, thereby identifying the origins of diseases.

Urine Sediment

A semi-quantitative urine test used to measure and calculate indicators such as erythrocytes, platelets, leukocytes, urinary casts, etc. This test is important in diagnosing and monitoring kidney diseases, especially nephrotic syndrome.

Detects HIV antigens and antibodies.

Hemoglobin Electrophoresis

No, Diag’s Pre-Marital Panel only performs blood tests, urine tests, and semen analysis (for males). Customers can register for ultrasound, X-ray and electrocardiogram at Diag Cao Thang branch: 414 - 420 Cao Thang, Ward 12, District 10, HCMC.

5. Do pre-marital tests require fasting?

Customers need to fast for at least 8 hours before sampling; however, fasting for at least 12 hours is necessary if taking pre-marital tests with lipid tests.

6. How long does it take to get pre-marital test results at Diag?

If Diag's lab receives the sample before 10:00 AM (Mon - Sat), test results will be available at 3:00 PM on the same day.
If Diag's lab receives the sample after 10:00 AM (Mon - Sat), test results will be available the next day.
