In 1998, French physician and biologist Bernard Coquelet founded DIAG – the first International Diagnostic Center in Ho Chi Minh City, marking the beginning of a journey to elevate the quality of medical diagnostics and laboratory testing nationwide. With the vision of building an internationally standardized medical laboratory system, DIAG has contributed to the sustainable development of diagnostic services in Vietnam

Polyclinics – Medical Laboratory and Diagnosis Center – Medical Diag Center has officially achieved ISO 15189 certification, an international standard issued by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO).

ISO 15189 defines stringent requirements for quality management systems and technical competence specific to medical laboratories, affirming the accuracy and reliability of laboratory testing processes. This certification also reflects DIAG’s strong commitment to complying with and continuously maintaining advanced international medical standards

Originally established as a specialized diagnostic laboratory, DIAG’s headquarters on Cao Thang Street (Hoa Hung District, Ho Chi Minh City) has gradually expanded in both scale and scope. Today, DIAG offers a wide range of laboratory testing and medical examination services, leveraging advanced medical technologies to enhance diagnostic accuracy and the quality of healthcare delivery

DIAG continuously updates and applies advanced technologies in laboratory testing to ensure the accuracy and reliability of results.

• GLP Track System (Abbott): An advanced laboratory management system recognized by the U.S. FDA, enabling full automation and end-to-end monitoring of the testing process—from sample receipt to result reporting. This system optimizes operational efficiency and minimizes errors at every stage of laboratory testing.

• Biosafety Level 2 Molecular Biology Laboratory: Designed and operated in compliance with government regulations on Biosafety Level 2 standards, this laboratory meets stringent infection control requirements, ensuring maximum safety for healthcare staff, the environment, and the community during specimen handling and analysis

DIAG is proud to have built a network of more than 30 branches across Ho Chi Minh City and Southern provinces, including Dong Nai, Binh Duong, Ba Ria–Vung Tau, Long An, and Tien Giang
